What you can learn about someone just by asking is incredible. Your goal is to have your peers tell you a few stories about their interactions with technology and their feelings about what it should do for them. Learn about what they currently use and carry on a regular basis and why. You want to discover how a piece of wearable technology can enhance their daily activities as well as be a reflection of wearer.

Based on information gathered during your interviews you are to then design a wearable that reflects your peer’s style, personality and needs. Consider the wearable you design to be a portrait of your peer, we should be able to look at your design and know who it is for.

Focus on what features the wearable should have to best reflect both personality and needs.
