{"id":2246,"date":"2013-04-10T07:28:22","date_gmt":"2013-04-10T11:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andrewyames.com\/artm2210\/?p=2246"},"modified":"2013-04-15T16:10:34","modified_gmt":"2013-04-15T20:10:34","slug":"monthly-review-3-shoe-websites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andrewyames.com\/artm2210\/monthly-review-3-shoe-websites\/","title":{"rendered":"Monthly Review 3: Shoe Websites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the 3rd review I compared zappos.com and manoloblahnik.com.<\/p>\n<p>While Zappos has much more on its website, manoloblahnik has a simpler design to it. \u00a0There isn&#8217;t much color, most of it being gray or white, and the layout is pretty simple. \u00a0Page tabs towards the left and Pictures towards the right.<\/p>\n<p>Zappos, on the other hand, has more to offer with color, just having more in general, and things flow a lot better. \u00a0It takes on the design of most other websites. \u00a0The layout, however, is not as simple as manoloblahnik.com. \u00a0It is a bit scattered, yet connected.<\/p>\n<p>As far as emphasis goes, Zappos.com stands out a lot better, having more on its page while Manoloblahnik.com has a simpler design and doesn&#8217;t stand out as much.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Zappos.com seems to be the better website in general, having more color and a better emphasis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the 3rd review I compared zappos.com and manoloblahnik.com.
