Switch Wine is a company that creates Australian certified organic wines. There are three navigation options at the top to scroll through on the one page site: ‘About Switch’, ‘The Wines’, and ‘Contact.’ However, the viewer can freely scroll to the left (or to the right if you’re on the center or end of the page) if they choose to do so. The colors used are nature inspired, along with a black accent. Colors that are used include blue, green, yellow, white and a sand color. These colors help play along with both the organic and Australian factors, because they are very clean and natural. The black accents help guide users along the website, pointing them in the right direction. (There is literally a big arrow pointing to the right on the homepage.) The contrast engages users and guides them along the site by showing how to properly read/use the one page website. Yellow, sand, and white contrast well against the blues so viewers can be shown information and text accordingly. The about Switch page uses a blue background with mainly black accents as graphics and lighter color text to show enough contrast to help guide viewers around the page. The next scroll option is a wine list offered by the company. The background is black, the text is white, and the images are of the blue and green bottles. Though the color of the site changed, the same scheme is being used to help tie everything together. Contact is the last part of the website, and uses more of the yellow, which has been an accent color throughout the site’s design until ‘Contact’. Each part of the site uses the same colors, but with variations of which one is the most dominant. The overall color combination of Switch Wine is appropriate for an organic product from Australia.
