I choose to analyze the web page of an organization that manages carbon emissions named Carbonica (http://www.carbonica.org/). The web site of Carbonica has a very interesting texture. The main background is made to look like it was some kind of old cardboard paper; one has a darker tone than the other which allows it to stick out to the viewer. The top of the page has a part that look like a mesh fabric and some graphics that represent a hill with some trees scattered on it. The web site use line and shape to subdivide the information so that it is easy to mentally organize. It also uses light and shadow on the background to give it the illusions of depth and make it look 3 dimensional. Overall I like the way they included texture in their design as it emphasis the ecologically friendly activities of the company.
